Merle A. Frandsen, 93, died peacefully surrounded by family on Nov. 4, 2019.
He was born in Volga, Aug. 15, 1926, to Marvin and Palma Frandsen and confirmed in First Lutheran Church in Brookings.
Preceded in death by his parents and brother, Harvey.
He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Dolores; children Jeannine (Richard) Meyer, Alan (Vicky) Frandsen, Anita (Bruce) Jacobson; 11 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren.
Merle was such a loving and caring man to his family and friends and loved to make anyone he met laugh and smile with his jokes. He will be interred in the First Lutheran Cemetery in Volga at a later date.
