On April 27, students from Mickelson Middle School participated in Washington Pavilion Design Challenge in Sioux Falls.
The challenge this year asked students to create and design a playable mini-golf hole that incorporated physics concepts.
Students were able to enjoy the Kirby Science Center, Visual Arts Center, Fitness & Health Floor, and playing other teams' mini-golf hole and communicating teams' design process to the judges. Tina Davis, Natasha Penner, Myron Linde and Steve Kalsbeck served as chaperones for the MMS teams.
