BROOKINGS – The public is invited to walk through the showroom at Midwest Glass next week to view more than 50 works of art created by students from Brookings High School.

The public is welcome to view the art between the hours of 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday and from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, March 2, at a public reception.

The multimedia art will be juried by a team including representatives from the SDSU Art Department and Midwest Glass Custom Framing. The winner will be awarded free custom framing by Midwest Glass.

“I am happy to have my Art 1 and Art 2 students’ work on display for the public and critiqued by industry professionals,” BHS art teacher Shaun Haaseth said. “The students are excited for this opportunity to show off the culmination of all of their hard work. They used a variety of techniques and media and I hope the people of Brookings enjoy the show.”

Midwest Glass is located at 1333 Main Ave. S. in Brookings.
