Mills Construction Inc. presented a $500 check to Teen Challenge of the Dakotas on March 1.
The purpose of Adult and Teen Challenge is, “To provide youth, adults and families with an effective and comprehensive Christian faith-based solution to life-controlling problems, such as substance abuse, in order to become productive members of society.”
Mills Construction was awarded the $500 for a charity of their choice by the Associated General Contractors of South Dakota Building Chapter when they won the Build South Dakota award for their work at The Farmstead in White.
Hanson said, “The choice of passing this money on to Teen Challenge of the Dakotas was a very logical one because of the lives they change and the workforce they provide our community. Several graduates of their program worked on The Farmstead project.”
