BROOKINGS – First-year students at South Dakota State University will start making the Brookings campus their new home Friday.
Move-In Weekend begins at 8 a.m. with fourth-floor residents. Hundreds of Meet State volunteers will be on campus to help the students move into the residence halls.
Activities to welcome students to campus during their first night at State include a welcome picnic, block party and the SDSU Wellness Center Extravaganza featuring games, inflatables and a dance.
First-year students receive their official welcome to campus at Convocation in Frost Arena at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Returning students are scheduled to move into their respective residence halls beginning at 1 p.m.
