BROOKINGS – GracePoint Wesleyan Church hosted A Night to Shine on Friday night. The event was coordinated by Dave Hopewell and his 150 volunteers, who teamed up with ADVANCE to create a night to remember.
The prom for people with special needs focused on God's love. Organizers spent about two months pulling it together.
Attendees were welcomed with a red carpet entrance Friday night as crowds cheered on either side.
Marcus Bohn with his date, Janeen Kurban, was excited to dance the night away.
