SIOUX FALLS – No. 41 Denver won its 25th consecutive Summit League women’s tennis dual, defeating South Dakota State 7-0 on Friday afternoon at Match Pointe in Sioux Falls.

SIOUX FALLS – No. 41 Denver won its 25th consecutive Summit League women’s tennis dual, defeating South Dakota State 7-0 on Friday afternoon at Match Pointe in Sioux Falls.

The Jackrabbits’ Iasmin Rosa and Morgan Brower beat Julia O’Loughlin and Sonja Radosevic 6-3 in the No. 1 doubles match; however, the Pioneers won the other two doubles matches to earn the point.

Denver won five of the six singles matches in straight sets.

O’Loughlin, the reigning Summit League Player of the Year, rallied past Rosa 6-7, 6-3, 10-3 at No. 1 singles.

The junior has never lost a singles match in league play, improving to 18-0 in her career – 3-0 this season. She played No. 3 singles as a freshman.

Three-time defending Summit League regular-season and tournament champion Denver (12-6, 3-0) hasn’t lost a conference dual since joining the league prior to the 2013-14 season.

SDSU (2-16, 0-3) takes on South Dakota today at 1 p.m. in Vermillion.
