BROOKINGS – Brookings Optimist Club President Paul Richter presents a $6,660 check for the 2019 Avenue of Flags project to Ronald Stary.
The funds were earned by the Band Boosters by helping out with the Avenue of Flags fundraiser. Students are asked to help with at least three of the five total fundraisers: Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day and Veterans Day.
