BROOKINGS – Oral Roberts swept South Dakota State 25-17, 25-22, 25-15 in a Summit League volleyball match Friday at Frost Arena.
The Golden Eagles (6-9, 3-0) hit .398 and totaled 51 kills.
Laura Milos racked up 19 kills and added a block assist. Morgan Blomquist contributed nine kills and 1 1/2 blocks (one solo). CeCe Madison had eight kills and a block assist. Shelby Cox totaled five kills and two blocks. Lara Picht chipped in with six kills.
Lucija Bojanjac (19) and Bria Bergman (18) combined for 37 set assists. Tori Roe notched 11 digs.
ORU closed the first set on a 7-1 run.
The visitors rallied from a 20-17 deficit to take Set 2.
For the Jackrabbits, Ashlynn Smith finished with 10 kills and a solo block. Makenzie Hennen had eight kills and Sierra Peterson six to go with a block assist. Payton Richardson tallied three kills, a service ace and a block assist.
Mattison Munger (14) and Maddie Fay (11) totaled 25 set assists. Ellie Benson came up with 12 digs.
