Pamela R. Jennen, of Volga, passed away Wednesday, March 13, 2019, at Select Specialty Hospital in Sioux Falls,. Memorial services will be held at a later date. Rude’s Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

 Pamela Rae Landmark was born on Dec. 16, 1959, in Sisseton, the daughter of Lyle and Ramona (Aadland) Landmark. She grew up in Sisseton and graduated from Sisseton High School in 1978. She attended Minnesota State University in Mankato, MN and received her Bachelor in Arts Degree from Sisseton Wahpeton Community College in 1999. She was united in marriage to David Jennen on Oct. 16, 1985, in Sisseton. 

The couple was blessed with four children, Keenan, Sheena, Deana and Gary. Over the years she lived in Veblen, Britton, Rapid City, Brookings and Volga. She worked as a Drug and Alcohol Counselor in Sisseton, Rapid City and Brookings. 

As her health declined, she moved to be closer to her family.

 She loved spending time with her family and was an avid reader until her sight began to fail and she transitioned to listening to books on tape. She enjoyed cross stitch, needlepoint, camping, fishing and trail riding.

Grateful for having shared her life are her children, Keenan (Bridgette) Jennen, of Volga, Sheena Jennen, of Volga,, Deana Jennen (Greg Nielsen) of Brookings,, Gary (MaryAnn) Jennen, of Billings, MT; 16 grandchildren, with three more on the way; her sister, Becky (Mike) Fogarty, of Homer; NE, brother, Todd (Denice) Landmark, of Britton; step mother, Grace Landmark, of Britton and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
