Pat L. Landis, 65, of Colman, died Saturday, March 18, 2017, at her home surrounded by her family.

Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at Colman Lutheran Church. Burial is in the Colman Cemetery. Visitation is 5 – 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at Skroch Funeral Chapel, Colman, with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service.

Pat was born July 26, 1951, in Brookville, Pa., to Herbert and Lois (Harrison) Allison. She graduated from high school at South Williamsport, Pa., in 1969. Pat met her husband Bob in Minneapolis in October 1970 and they were married Aug. 21, 1971, in Williamsport.

They moved to Colman in 1974. Pat loved to sew. Her specialty was quilts. For Veterans Day she made quilts of valor to give to veterans. Pat was concerned this year because she needed to make 16 quilts. Her grandchildren were her biggest joy.

It was necessary for her to attend every event that her grandchildren were in. Pat and Bob enjoyed traveling.

Bob was always patient when she thought she had to go in every quilt store in every state.

She was a volunteer for the Red Cross traveling to Missouri, California, New Jersey, and Louisiana during disasters.

Pat is survived by her husband, Bob; three sons, Jason (Jennifer) of Flandreau; Nathan of Sioux Falls and Justin (Brandi) of Colman; seven grandchildren; sister, Kim (Levon) Whitmyer of Williamsport; brother Bill Warfield of Pelham, Ala., and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pat was preceded in death by her father Herbert, and two brothers, Larry and Burt.
