Pats shut out Cats in girls’ match

BROOKINGS – Three different Patriots found the back of the net as Sioux Falls Lincoln defeated the Bobcats 3-0 in a nonconference girls’ soccer match Thursday night at Fishback.

Hannah Cisar opened the scoring on an assist from Mariah Siem 3:22 into the contest.

Brooklyn Denoff’s header in the 67th minute made it 2-0. Siem added a goal in the 70th minute.

Sienna Syverson made four saves for the Patriots (3-3-1).

Lincoln outshot Brookings 14-8, including 11-3 on goal.

Grace Mork stopped seven shots. Emily Rystrom was credited with a save on a corner kick.

The Bobcats (2-3) are host to Brandon Valley on Monday at 6 p.m.
