BROOKINGS – A Tea woman was arrested early Monday morning after the owner of the residence requested that she be removed, according to Brookings Police.

Brooke DeBoer, 32, of Tea, was arrested and transported to the Brookings County Detention Center, Sgt. Joel Perry said.

The alleged incident was reported at 2 a.m. Monday and officers were called to the 500 block of 20th Avenue, “for an intoxicated female,” Perry said. “The owner of the residence wanted the female removed.”

“When the female was advised to leave, she kicked two officers. She was arrested for simple assault on a law enforcement officer,” Perry said. No officers were injured, he added.
