VOLGA – An electrical pole was vandalized with racist graffiti near Volga, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
The vandalism was reported at 5:45 p.m. Tuesday and occurred at 465th Avenue, half mile south of 213th Street, south of Volga, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.
“The Brookings County Sheriff’s Office took a report of racial and vulgar graffiti spray painted on an electrical pole owned by Sioux Valley Energy,” Sebring said.
The graffiti was spray painted on the pole sometime between Tuesday, April 13, and Tuesday, April 20, he said.
