Wednesday, Feb. 3
2:20 a.m. The Brookings Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 3000 block of LeFevre Drive. The driver was arrested for a Brookings County bench warrant and possession of controlled substance.
2:22 a.m. Possession controlled drug or substance; throwing match or burning object from vehicle as misdemeanor
4:25 a.m. The Brookings Police Department conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of 22nd Avenue and Eastbrook Drive. A consent search was performed, and illegal drugs were located in the vehicle. One male was arrested for multiple drug offenses. A report was generated.
12:51 p.m. Department of Social Services referral
3:59 p.m. Brookings Police were advised a possible protection order violation. A report was filed, and the incident remains under investigation.
Thursday, Feb. 4
3:47 a.m. The Brookings Police Department received a report of a possible domestic assault in the 1000 block of Western Avenue South. A report was generated and sent to the Brookings County state’s attorney for review of charges.
10:12 a.m. Officers responded to a report of a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Main Avenue and Seventh Street. A report was filed.
4:10 p.m. Officers took a report of possible fraud in the 300 block of 32nd Avenue. A report was generated.
