Wednesday, March 6

10:35 a.m. The Brookings Police Department received a report of a violation of a court-ordered no-contact order. The individual who had violated this order was located and placed under arrest for criminal trespass and violation of a no-contact order.

12:22 p.m. School Resource Officer Schneider spoke with a female student at the high school in regard to harassment. A report was filed for documentation purposes.

3:48 p.m. Officer Larsen received a call from a Nebraska detective in regard to an individual with several felony warrants. The individual was located and arrested.

8:02 p.m. Aggravated assault domestic

9:44 p.m. An individual came to the Brookings Police Department to turn in found drug paraphernalia. The item was taken by an officer and secured in evidence.

Thursday, March 7

9:07 a.m. An informational report was generated regarding an individual having problems with their insurance.

11:53 a.m. Officer Engstrom responded to a non-injury motor vehicle crash in the 300 block of Fifth Street. A report was filed.

12:05 p.m. Officer Asmus conducted a traffic stop on the 1700 block of Medary Avenue. The driver was cited for multiple traffic offenses.

12:40 p.m. The school resource officer was notified of possible abuse going on in a home. An investigation was made, and a report has been filed for documentation.

2:25 p.m. Sgt. Sonnenburg received information from the Sioux Falls Police Department regarding a juvenile incident. The information was documented.

2:55 p.m. Officer Engstrom responded to a non-injury motor vehicle crash at the intersection of Eighth Street South and Brooklawn Drive. A report was filed.
