Monday, March 25

1:38 a.m. Officers responded to the 400 block of Main Avenue for a report of trespassing.

7:50 a.m. Dispatch Officer Doremus of a male at 530 Elm Ave. (Brookings High School) who wanted to report being struck by a car while riding his bike to school.

9:17 a.m. Officers responded to the 200 block of Railroad Street for a report of intimidation. One male was arrested. A report was filed.

11:50 a.m. Identity theft

1:24 p.m. Officer Warkenthien took a report of sexual assault. An investigation is ongoing at this time.

Tuesday, March 26

9:57 a.m. The Watertown Police Department reported a runaway juvenile from Watertown to possibly be in Brookings. A report was generated.

11:47 a.m. In the 3000 block of Lefevre Drive, officers were called for a female in distress. A male was arrested for aggravated assault domestic, false imprisonment and driving revoked.

1:42 p.m. Officers responded to a report of vandalism in the 700 block of Medary Avenue. A police report was filed.

Wednesday, March 27

7:04 a.m. Damage to a vehicle was reported in the Brookings Emergency Room parking lot. A report was taken.

Thursday, March 28

12:52 a.m. Officers responded to the 300 block of Main in reference to a sexual assault. One male was arrested for sexual contact without consent.

1:43 a.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Sixth Avenue and 11th Street for a street sign that had been vandalized. A report was filed.

10:04 a.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Interstate 29 and Sixth Street due to a report of a two-vehicle crash. One party was transported in regard to neck pain.

Friday, March 29

8:36 a.m. Theft from a motor vehicle, $400-$1,000; criminal entry of a motor vehicle

9:14 a.m. Officers took reports of thefts from Walmart. Reports were filed.

Saturday, March 30

8:14 a.m. Criminal trespass; petty theft, less than $400; criminal entry of a motor vehicle

11:10 a.m. Officers took a report of fraud in the 300 block of Third Avenue. A report was filed.

1:02 p.m. Officers took a report of a theft in the 600 block of Eighth Street South. A report was filed, and a female was cited for petty theft less than $400.

3:37 p.m. A report was taken for a non-injury accident at 22nd Avenue and the Highway 14 bypass.

7:24 p.m. Officer Kreutner was dispatched to the 900 block of Southland Lane for a report of a theft. A report was generated.
