Sunday, April 7

2:13 a.m. Officer Larsen took an intentional damage report in the 500 block of Seventh Avenue South. It is currently under investigation.

Monday, April 8

6:45 a.m. Officers took a report of shoplifting from Walmart. A report was filed.

8:45 a.m. Officers received a call about stolen property. A report was filed.

10:39 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Sixth Street and 20th Avenue to a report of a two-vehicle crash. A report was taken.

8:37 p.m. Sgt. Sonnenburg received a report of a possible domestic assault that had occurred on the 2300 block of Bluegill Avenue earlier in the day. The incident is under investigation.

Tuesday, April 9

8:31 a.m. Officers responded to the 200 block of Second Street South to a report of a non-injury crash. A report was taken.

11:27 a.m. Officers took a report of a probation violation that took place in the 300 block of Third Avenue at 6 a.m. A report was filed.

11:33 a.m. The Brookings Police Department conducted a controlled purchase of narcotics. A report was filed.

11:44 a.m. School Resource Officer Schneider received a report of harassment at Brookings High School. A report was generated.

2:10 p.m. Officers responded to the 500 block of Elm Avenue for a report of harassment. A report was filed.

9:07 p.m. Officers took a report of a hit-and-run in the Runnings parking lot. A report was generated.

Wednesday, April 10

1:34 a.m. Officers arrived at the 9 Bar for an identification check. Two subjects were arrested and brought to the Brookings County Detention Center. A report was generated.
