2:45 p.m. Brookings Police responded to the 100 block of 22nd Avenue South for a two-vehicle, non-injury accident. A state accident report was completed. No injuries were reported.
3:54 p.m. Officers received a call regarding a possible theft that occurred in the 400 block of First Avenue. A report was filed for documentation.
Thursday, May 21
2:23 a.m. Injury accident
8:19 a.m. Brookings Police took a report of vandalism in the 100 block of Third Avenue South. An investigation is ongoing.
1:35 p.m. Brookings Police responded to the 1800 block of 12th Street South in reference to a theft.
2:57 p.m. Brookings Police arrived in the 100 block of West Folsom Street to execute a felony warrant. The subject was located at the residence and taken into custody.
9:11 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 2000 block of 22nd Avenue South. Illegal drugs were located. A report was filed.
Friday, May 22
2:03 a.m. Officers responded to the 200 block of Eighth Street West due to a report of an assault. One male was taken into custody without incident.
12:29 p.m. Officer McCaskill received a report of a motor vehicle stolen from the 400 block of Third Avenue. The vehicle was parked in the 72-hour lot with the keys inside of it.
1:18 p.m. Brookings Police took a report in regard to a stolen bicycle.
1:30 p.m. Brookings Police responded to the 500 block of Eighth Street South for an animal bite report.
1:57 p.m. Brookings Police arrested a male subject for a violation of a protection order.
3:12 p.m. Brookings Police took a report in regard to a shoplifting incident.
Saturday, May 23
2:26 a.m. Officer Pollman conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of 17th Avenue. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
10:37 a.m. Law enforcement investigated a domestic assault. After completing an investigation, one male was arrested for aggravated assault.
12:53 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of a non-injury motor vehicle crash involving a parked vehicle in the 1300 block of Sixth Street. A report was filed.
3:42 p.m. Brookings Police were called to Walmart for a report of a theft in progress. A report was filed.
