10:12 p.m. Brookings Police responded to a car vs. deer accident.
Thursday, June 3
1:40 a.m. The Brookings Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of 20th Street South. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol.
1:47 a.m. Brookings Police stopped a vehicle for speeding. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
11:31 a.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to the 2400 block of Yorkshire Drive for a non-injury, one-vehicle crash involving a parked vehicle. A report was filed.
3:17 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a non-injury accident in the 500 block of Main Avenue South. A report was filed.
7:33 p.m. Brookings Police responded to the 1200 block of Sixth Street in regard to an unruly juvenile. After further investigation, the juvenile was transported to the Brookings Emergency Room for a mental health committal. Charges are pending against the juvenile. A report was generated.
Friday, June 4
12:07 a.m. The Brookings Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 2200 block of Sixth Street for a speeding violation. During the investigation, the driver was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and possession of controlled substance.
1:16 a.m. The Brookings Police Department conducted a traffic stop near the 300 block of Second Street South. The driver of the vehicle was subsequently arrested for DUI. A report has been generated.
10:19 a.m. An officer responded to the 300 block of Sixth Avenue for a report of vandalism. Upon arrival, a vehicle was located with damage. A report was filed.
10:21 a.m. Officers were dispatched to the 300 block of Seventh Avenue in report of a possible DUI. Further investigation led to one individual charged with DUI.
1:06 p.m. An officer took a report about an incident regarding a juvenile. The incident was documented.
2:26 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the intersection of Eighth Street South and 32nd Avenue for a report of a single-vehicle rollover accident with a single occupant. Minor injuries reported. State accident report completed.
2:45 p.m. A Brookings resident called and reported someone made an unauthorized recording of them without clothes using a social media platform and was now posting it online.
