8:54 a.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report for a protection order violation in the 2000 block of Teresa Avenue.
1:42 p.m. Sexual contact with a child less than 16 – offender 5 or more years older
8:27 p.m. Aggravated assault
Thursday, June 10
2:20 p.m. Sgt. Sonnenburg received a report of a possible hit-and-run crash in the area of the 100 block of Jefferson Avenue. A police report was completed.
5:21 p.m. Officers conducted a welfare check on a male at 312 Eighth Ave. The male was taken to the Brookings ER by ambulance, and IVC paperwork was completed.
Friday, June 11
12:24 a.m. Brookings Police stopped a vehicle for speeding. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
6:01 a.m. Law enforcement investigated a simple assault domestic. One male was arrested for simple assault domestic.
10:45 a.m. Brookings Police received information in regard to narcotics sales. The case is under investigation.
1:52 p.m. Officers responded to the 1000 block of 22nd Avenue to a report of theft. A report was taken.
6:54 p.m. Officers responded to a report of shoplifting at 1024 22nd Ave. S. The incident is currently under investigation.
10:03 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. The driver was issued a citation, and the vehicle was towed.

6:13 p.m. Officer Page took a report of a hit-and-run that occurred in the 3M parking lot.
