Monday, June 15

1:58 a.m. Officer Doremus conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of Medary Avenue. The driver was charged on complaint for various offenses.

4:07 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of identity theft occurring at a local business. A report was filed.

10:48 p.m. Officers were asked by Mankato PD to swing by an address on Eighth Avenue South for a stolen vehicle. The vehicle was located and the individual was interviewed.

11:32 p.m. An individual was bit by a cat in the 300 block of Third Avenue. An animal bite form was completed.

Tuesday, June 16

12:08 a.m. Officers responded to the area of 400 Main Ave. for an intoxicated male. The male left with a friend.

10:47 a.m. Law enforcement took a report of a possible protection order violation.

4:32 p.m. Brookings Police took a report of a fraudulent check that was successfully cashed. A report was filed.

4:38 p.m. Sgt. Sonnenburg received a report of suspicious holes in the siding of a residence in the 1000 block of Seventh Avenue. A report was completed.

8:45 p.m. Driving while suspended

Wednesday, June 17

12:53 a.m. A male having a medical issue was located at a local business.

10:39 a.m. Brookings Police Department responded to the 400 block of 15th Street South in reference to a welfare check.

11:59 a.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Sixth Street and 22nd Avenue for a two-vehicle, non-injury accident. A report was filed.

2:27 p.m. Third-degree burglary – enter or remain in an unoccupied building to commit a crime

9:31 p.m. Underage purchase or possession of alcoholic beverages; shoplifting – petty theft – less than $400

Thursday, June 18

6:49 a.m. Brookings Police responded to the 600 block of Eighth Street South for a report of a driver under the influence. Driver was located and arrested for DUI.

12:19 p.m. Officer Larsen responded to the 2100 block of Sixth Street for a non-injury accident. A state accident report was completed.

12:50 p.m. Officers took a bicycle theft report. A report was filed.

5:39 p.m. Officers took a report of a protection order violation in Brookings. A report was filed.

7:19 p.m. Sgt. Franklin took a report of burglary and fraud in the 2000 block of 20th Street South.
