12:02 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop on two vehicles in the 900 block of Main Avenue South. A female driver was arrested for corner cutting and DUI. The male driver of the second vehicle was cited for corner cutting.

12:09 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop at Fifth Street South and Main Avenue South. This resulted in a DUI arrest.

4:10 a.m. Brookings Police officers stopped a vehicle for failing to stop at a stop sign. The vehicle was searched, and paraphernalia was located.

9:45 a.m. A local business owner came to the police department to report a theft by an employee. The incident is under investigation.

1:21 p.m. The Brookings Police Department conducted alcohol compliance checks. A business located in the 1700 block of Sixth Street failed to check the identification of the underage buyer and was cited for furnishing alcohol to a minor.

1:37 p.m. The Brookings Police Department conducted alcohol compliance checks. A business located in the 1800 block of Sixth Street failed to check the identification of the underage buyer and was cited for furnishing alcohol to a minor.

2:20 p.m. The Brookings Police Department conducted alcohol compliance checks. A business located in the 700 block of 22nd Avenue South failed to check the identification of the underage buyer and was cited for furnishing alcohol to a minor.

2:58 p.m. The Brookings Police Department conducted alcohol compliance checks. A business located in the 200 block of Main Avenue South failed to check the identification of the underage buyer and was cited for furnishing alcohol to a minor.

6:12 p.m. Brookings Police officers responded to an injury accident at the Biomat parking lot. The suspect drove off and was later arrested.

Saturday, June 25

1:58 a.m. Officers responded to the 1100 block of Second Street for a domestic. One male was transported to jail.

9:43 p.m. Officers made a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Sixth Street. Alcohol and vape smoking devices were confiscated.

Sunday, June 26

2:45 a.m. Officers initiated a traffic stop in the 400 block of Fourth Street. Further investigation led to the arrest of the driver for DUI-first offense.

12:10 p.m. Officers responded to the 2200 block of 10th Street to a domestic disturbance. One person was arrested.

9:29 p.m. Officers responded to 205 20th St. S. for a report of a domestic assault. Through the investigation, one female was arrested.
