Friday, July 31
2:06 a.m. Brookings Police stopped a vehicle for a lane usage violation. The driver was arrested for driving under the influence.
4:23 p.m. A dog bite that occurred at 717 Medary Ave. was reported at the Brookings ER.
10:18 p.m. Brookings Ambulance was dispatched to the intersection of Fifth Street South and Medary Avenue South for a male individual complaining of chest pains. One male was arrested and put on a parole hold.
Saturday, Aug. 1
1:03 a.m. Officer Britt conducted a traffic stop near the intersection of Third Avenue and Fifth Street. An investigation was conducted, and the driver of the vehicle was arrested for DUI.
2:01 a.m. Brookings Police conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle in the 400 block of Sixth Street. After further investigation, the driver was arrest for numerous charges including driving under the influence.
7:50 a.m. Officer Page was requested to assist Kingsbury County deputies at the Brookings ER.
