12:33 p.m. Police conducted a parole search in the 1000 block of Western Avenue. A report was filed.

7:06 p.m. Law enforcement assisted with a medical call.

Saturday, Sept. 5

1:54 a.m. Law enforcement conducted a traffic stop. During the stop, a female driver was arrested for DUI.

5:34 a.m. Brookings Police responded to a residence in regard to a pickup parked in their front yard. The male driver was arrested for driving under the influence.

12:22 p.m. Brookings Police responded to the 600 block of 22nd Avenue for a report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident. A report was completed.

3:56 p.m. Brookings Police responded to 2233 Sixth St. for a report of shoplifting. One person was cited, and a report was generated.

9:50 p.m. Officers responded to a welfare check in the 1100 block of Sixth Street. An investigation was completed, and a report was generated.

Sunday, Sept. 6

12:46 a.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of a sexual assault. A report was filed.

1:55 a.m. Officer Popp stopped a vehicle in the 500 block of Main Avenue for driving without headlights and failure to stop at a stop sign. After an investigation, the driver was arrested for DUI.

2 a.m. Officers spoke with a Brookings resident regarding her bank card being used fraudulently at two businesses in town. A report was filed, and an investigation is ongoing.

4:53 p.m. Brookings Police responded to a residence in regard to a protection order violation.

8:04 p.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to the Brookings Health System ER for a report of an animal bite. A report was filed.

Monday, Sept. 7

1:12 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 500 block of 12th Street South. One male was arrested on suspicion of DUI. A report was filed.

3:07 a.m. Officers responded to the 200 block of Round Up Circle for a suspicious male. One male was arrested on disorderly conduct charges. A report was generated.

10:35 p.m. Officers responded to a non-injury crash in the 1300 block of 17th Avenue South. A report was taken.
