7:52 a.m. Officer Bonnema responded to an accident involving two vehicles. A state accident report was completed.

9:18 a.m. School Resource Officer Schneider spoke with a female high school student about a theft that occurred. There are no suspects at this time.

12:19 p.m. Officer Jurrens responded to a single-vehicle, non-injury collision at Third Street and 22nd Avenue.

1:33 p.m. Officer Larsen responded to a minor injury, car vs. pedestrian crash. A city crash report was filed.

2:58 p.m. Officer Jurrens responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury collision in a parking lot located in the 500 block of Eighth Street South.

5:18 p.m. Officers responded to the 700 block of 13th Street West in reference to a report of a domestic assault which happened at about 11 a.m. Sept. 18.

7:09 p.m. An officer responded to the intersection of 22nd Avenue South and 20th Street South for the report of a minor, one-vehicle accident. Upon arrival, it was discovered a vehicle lost control while merging into a turning lane and struck a fire hydrant. No injuries were reported.

7:23 p.m. Officer Asmus took a report of harassing phone calls in the 500 block of Remington Road. The investigation is ongoing.

Thursday, Sept. 20

1:55 a.m. Simple assault 

7:14 a.m. Officer Bonnema responded to a Brookings residence in regard to their garage being entered.

7:47 a.m. Officer Larsen took a report of a non-injury crash in the 300 block of Main Avenue South. A state crash report was filed.

8:01 a.m. the Brookings Police Department took a report of items stolen from a vehicle parked in a garage in the 800 block of Medary Avenue South.

1:04 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of items stolen from a vehicle parked inside a garage.

4:09 p.m. Officer McCaskill was requested to the Daktronics parking lot for the report of a possible hit-and-run accident. There is no suspect at this time. A city accident report was completed.

9:56 p.m. Suicide attempt
