Wednesday, Sept. 25

12:46 a.m. Officers were made aware of several juveniles who were missing.

1:33 a.m. Possession of a controlled drug or substance; ingestion of controlled drug or sub-stance as felony; possession or use of drug paraphernalia

4:13 a.m. Officers were notified of multiple different runaway juveniles. Reports were filed for each individual.

9:37 a.m. Brookings Police received drug information. A report was filed.

5:36 p.m. Careless driving

Thursday, Sept. 26

12:26 a.m. Law enforcement made contact with a male suspected of being under the influence of a controlled substance. After completing an investigation, the male was arrested.

9:14 a.m. Officers responded to the intersection of Sixth Street and 17th Avenue for a two-vehicle, non-injury accident. A report was filed.

1:48 p.m. Officer Kreutner was dispatched to the 600 block of Main Avenue in regard to a harassment complaint. A report was generated.

2:12 p.m. Brookings Police stopped a vehicle for speeding. The passenger was arrested for possession of a controlled substance and marijuana.

5:42 p.m. Law enforcement investigated hit-and-run accident. No suspects at this time.

8:45 p.m. Officers responded to the 800 block of Ninth Avenue for a two-car, non-injury accident. A state accident report was filed.

10:42 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1700 block of Sixth Street. A DUI investiga-tion was conducted, and one male was arrested. A report was filed.

Friday, Sept. 27

12:23 a.m. Officers Popp and Weinrich stopped a vehicle in the 700 block of Sixth Street for lane driving. After an investigation, the female driver was arrested for DUI (marijuana), ingestion and possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.

12:23 a.m. Warrant

5:12 a.m. Officers were requested to exit 132 for a report of a vehicle all over the road. A male was arrested for drug-related charges.

10:52 a.m. Drug information

12:53 p.m. Brookings Police responded to a minor accident involving two vehicles.

1:11 p.m. Officer Kreutner was notified that a male who had a warrant out for his arrest was in the lobby of the Police Department. The warrant was confirmed, and the male was arrested.

1:26 p.m. Officers were made aware of a runaway juvenile. A state runaway case was issued. A report was filed.

2:53 p.m. Officer Kreutner was dispatched to Walmart in regard to someone trespassing on the premises. One was arrested. A report was generated.
