7:50 a.m. Brookings Police took a report of intentional damage and theft from a truck in the 3200 block of 32nd Avenue South. A report was generated.

10:47 a.m. Brookings Police responded to the 600 block of Jackrabbit Avenue for a non-injury accident. A report was generated.

Saturday, Sept. 26

8:45 a.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report of vandalism in the 200 block of 16th Avenue. A report was filed.

11:30 a.m. Threatening or harassing contacts by telephone or other electronic device

11:49 a.m. The Brookings Police Department assisted the Brookings Ambulance. A report was filed.

Sunday, Sept. 27

1:29 a.m. Brookings Police responded to the 1600 block of Sixth Street in reference to a driver consuming alcohol.

10:44 a.m. Brookings Police responded to a hit-and-run accident. A report was filed.

12:49 p.m. Sgt. Weinrich took a report of intentional damage in the 2300 block of 17th Avenue South. A report was generated.

2:28 p.m. Officers responded to the 500 block of First Avenue for a report of an argument. A male party was cited for intentional damage to property.

6:43 p.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to the 2100 block of Derdall Drive for a welfare check.

8:23 p.m. Officers responded to the 500 block of Eighth Street South to a medical emergency. A report was taken.

Monday, Sept. 28

7:55 a.m. Officer Pollman conducted a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Christine Avenue for a speed violation. During the investigation, it was determined the driver was under the influence of an illicit drug.

10:54 a.m. Officer Popp took a report of male texting a female. The unwanted contact was documented.

11:17 a.m. Department of Social Services referral

1:14 p.m. Brookings Police took a report of an American flag being torn down and stolen.

2:36 p.m. Sgt. Sonnenburg assisted Court Services officers with probation violation.

4:07 p.m. Officer Popp took a report of two female juvenile runaways. After two hours of searching and investigation, the two females were located in Volga. A report was filed, and no further action was taken.

Tuesday, Sept. 29

1:59 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 2200 block of Sixth Street for a report of a female shoplifting. The female was cited for petty theft.

5:51 p.m. Officers were dispatched to an assault in progress in the 1000 block of Western Avenue. One female was arrested for aggravated assault, and one male was arrested on an unrelated warrant. A report was filed.

Wednesday, Sept. 30

1:21 a.m. DUI-first offense; ingest, inhale substance to become intoxicated; expired license plates

9:22 a.m. CID assisted parole with copying information from a cell phone.

2:03 p.m. Officers received a call in regard to a theft that occurred in the 800 block of Eighth Street South. A report was filed.

2:13 p.m. Brookings Police responded to the 1000 block of 22nd Avenue for a report of intentional damage to property. A report was generated.
