Sunday, Oct. 14

2:35 a.m. Officer McCaskill was requested by SDSU police officers to the west entrance of McCrory Gardens for the report of a possible assault (domestic). It was determined the assault took place in the 900 block of Fifth Street South. One individual was later arrested for simple assault (domestic violence).

3:37 a.m. Officer Larsen responded to the 300 block of Third Street for a male passed out behind the wheel of a running pickup. An investigation was performed, and the male was arrested for DUI.

10:12 a.m. Officer Engstrom met with an individual at the police department regarding a theft. A report was filed.

11:29 a.m. Officers responded to the 2500 block of Sixth Street for a male who was trespassing. An investigation was made, and one male was arrested for trespassing.

12:03 p.m. Officers responded to the 1900 block of Sixth Street to a report of possible intentional damage. The reporting party stated they believed their vehicle had been shot with a pellet or BB gun. A report was taken.

12:14 p.m. Officers responded to the 1700 block of Third Street for a juvenile incident. A report was filed.

2:41 p.m. Officer Franklin took a report of a suicidal female in the 300 block of Third Avenue.

6:26 p.m. Officers from several agencies were dispatched to shots fired at a local apartment complex.

Monday, Oct. 15

9:15 a.m. Sgt. Sonnenburg was dispatched to the 700 block of 22nd Avenue South for a report of damage. A police report was completed.

3:18 p.m. Petty theft, less than $400

3:46 p.m. Sgt. Sonnenburg received information regarding possible drug activity. The incident is pending.

7:56 p.m. A business called in regard to a person attempting to pass counterfeit money.

Tuesday, Oct. 16

11:13 a.m. Officers were dispatched to a traffic complaint. The driver was arrested for DUI.

12:34 p.m. Officers responded to the 500 block of Seventh Avenue South in reference to an alleged assault, an ambulance call, another alleged assault, a civil issue, and harassing messages. A report was filed.

12:39 p.m. An officer responded to the 800 block of Fifth Street South for a report of disorderly conduct. After an investigation into the incident, one individual was arrested and charged with simple assault.

1:02 p.m. A Brookings resident was located after police learned he had an active warrant for his arrest out of another county. A report was filed.

5:28 p.m. A male reported suspicious activity.
