7:31 a.m. Officers responded to 500 block of 12th Street South for a juvenile incident. A report was filed.

8:36 a.m. Officer Hart responded to the 2100 block of Rhonda Road for a report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident. A city accident report was completed.

12:36 p.m. Sgt. Sonnenburg responded to a report of a hit-and-run crash in the 1700 block of Sixth Street. A city accident report was completed.

6:42 p.m. Informational report

9:54 p.m. Officer Asmus conducted a welfare check on an individual in the 600 block of Park Avenue. A report was filed.

Tuesday, Oct. 23

12:44 a.m. Officer Pollman conducted a traffic stop in the 600 block of Ninth Avenue on a vehicle for operating without headlights. During the investigation, the driver was placed under arrest for multiple charges and the passenger was placed under arrest for possession of controlled substance.

7:09 a.m. An officer responded to a non-injury motor vehicle crash in the 200 block of 13th Avenue. A report was filed.

11:03 a.m. Officers responded to the 300 block of Main Avenue to a report of a single-vehicle, non-injury crash. A report was taken.

12:40 p.m. Officers met with an individual at the Brookings Police Department. The individual wished to report an incident that had occurred over the weekend. A report was taken.

4:43 p.m. Officers responded to a non-injury motor vehicle crash in the 700 block of Eighth Avenue. A report was filed.

7:39 p.m. Officer Bonnema stopped a motor vehicle for lane driving and an equipment violation. The driver was cited for possessing drug paraphernalia.
