9:13 a.m. Officers responded to the 2300 block of 10th Street for a report of marijuana coming from an apartment complex. Drug paraphernalia was collected and no charges are pending.

Thursday, Nov. 5

12:13 a.m. The Brookings Police Department took a fraud report. A report was filed.

12:46 a.m. Officer Schneider took a two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the parking lot of the Brookings High School. A city accident report was completed.

7:26 p.m. Brookings Police investigated a theft in the 2400 block of Sixth Street.

7:46 p.m. Brookings Police responded to the 2300 block of 10th Street for a complaint about potential drug usage. Contact was made with a tenant, and drug paraphernalia was confiscated. A report was generated.

9:19 p.m. Brookings Police responded to the 2500 block of Sixth Street to assist another agency.

10:46 p.m. Brookings Police conducted a welfare check on a subject in the 1200 block of Main Avenue South. An investigation was conducted, and the subject was arrested for driving under the influence. A report was generated.

Friday, Nov. 6

10:22 p.m. Brookings Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver was arrested for DUI.

Saturday, Nov. 7

2:10 a.m. Officer Larsen stopped a vehicle for driving without headlights in the 400 block of Sixth Street. During the traffic stop it was determined the driver of the vehicle had been drinking alcohol. The driver was arrested for DUI-first offense.

8:14 a.m. Hit-and-run misdemeanor; fail to maintain financial responsibility

12:45 p.m. Officers responded to a report of a non-injury crash. A report was taken.

1 p.m. Animal bite/scratch/attack

3:50 p.m. Officers made a warrant arrest in the 1000 block of Western Avenue.
