Sunday, Nov. 8

1:01 a.m. Brookings Police responded to the 2400 block of Sixth Street for the report of harassment. A report was filed, and a suspect was identified.

1:49 a.m. Brookings Police arrested an intoxicated male in the downtown area for disorderly conduct.

2:59 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 1500 block of Sixth Street. One male was arrested for DUI. A report was generated.

11:05 a.m. Intentional damage to property, $400-$1,000

6:30 p.m. Officers assisted the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office in locating a juvenile female who had taken a vehicle without authorization. The female was later located. A report was generated.

7:17 p.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to the intersection of 20th Street South and Brighton Road for a non-injury motor vehicle crash in a construction site. A report was filed.

10:53 p.m. Officers took a report of extortion in the Brookings city limits. A report was generated.

Monday, Nov. 9

8:56 a.m. Officer Pollman took a report of theft from a building under construction in the 100 block of First Avenue South. Items that were stolen at this time was sheet metal. No suspects at this time.

3:08 p.m. The Brookings Police Department received a report of a suicidal individual. Officers are attempting to locate the individual, and a state case was issued.

6:20 a.m. Theft by threat extortion, $100-$500
