5:25 p.m. The Brookings Police Department took a report at the ER of a dog bite

5:28 p.m. Brookings Police investigated a city code violation in the 300 block of Medary Avenue South.

Monday, Nov. 15

3:14 p.m. Officers observed a male walking in the 300 block of Eighth Avenue South who was known to have a warrant. The male was arrested for his active warrant.

8:02 p.m. Officers responded to the intersection of 22nd Avenue and the Highway 14 Bypass for a car accident that resulted from hitting a deer. A report was generated.

Tuesday, Nov. 16

2:09 a.m. Brookings Police assisted university officers on a traffic stop located on the 1100 block of Eighth Street. Citations were issued, and a report was filed.

10:42 a.m. School Resource Officer Warkenthien was notified of an underage tobacco violation. An investigation was made, and a citation was issued. A juvenile report has been filed.

3:06 p.m. Officers responded to Lewis Pharmacy for a report of a male trying to fill a fraudulent prescription. After an investigation, the male was arrested.

4:40 p.m. Brookings Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Third Avenue and Fourth Street. One driver was issued a citation. A state accident report was completed.

10:14 p.m. Officers arrested an individual in the 2200 block of Sixth Street for an active arrest warrant out of Minnehaha County.
