1:19 p.m. The Brookings Police Department received a report of an unattended death in the 2400 block of Yorkshire Drive.

2:52 p.m. Officers with the Brookings Police Department responded to the 900 block of 22nd Avenue South due to a report of a hit-and-run vehicle crash. No injuries were reported, and a report was generated.

Thursday, Nov. 12

2:13 a.m. The Brookings Police Department conducted a traffic stop in the 1300 block of Sixth Street. The driver of the vehicle was arrested for DUI.

7:53 a.m. The Brookings Police Department responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Eighth Street South and Western Avenue. A report was completed.

6:44 p.m. Officers responded to the 500 block of Sunrise Ridge Road for a possible assault. After investigation, one male was arrested for simple assault. A report was generated.

10:45 p.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of 22nd Avenue South. One female was arrested on suspicion of DUI. A report was generated.

Friday, Nov. 13

1:26 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop near Stadium Road on the Highway 14 Bypass. Officers observed indicators of criminal activity. PSD Luna with the South Dakota Highway Patrol was deployed on the vehicle. Drug paraphernalia was collected. A report was generated.

11:19 a.m. Mental health related

1:56 p.m. The Brookings Police Department received a report regarding possible abuse. The investigation is ongoing.

Saturday, Nov. 14

12:01 a.m. Brookings Police responded to the 400 block of Main Avenue for a male trespassing. A male was arrested for multiple charges, and a report was filed.

12:46 a.m. Officers conducted a traffic stop in the 300 block of Fifth Avenue. One male was arrested for DUI. A report was generated.

4:05 a.m. Officers responded to the 400 block of 13th Avenue for a reported assault. One male was arrested on multiple charges. A report was generated.

5:08 a.m. Brookings Police were dispatched to the 1300 block of Third Street for a theft from a vehicle. The incident remains under investigation.

10:22 p.m. Brookings Police generated a report in regard to a protection order violation.
