8:49 a.m. Officers were notified of a non-injury accident that had occurred at approximately 8:03 a.m. in the 900 block of Fifth Street South. A report was taken.
9:24 a.m. Officers responded to the 500 block of Seventh Avenue South for a sign that had been run over.
11:35 a.m. Officer Warkenthien took a report of a student drinking at the high school. An investigation was made, and charges have been filed for underage consumption. A juvenile report has been filed.
1:22 p.m. Officers responded to the 1300 block of Sixth Street for a report of theft.
1:50 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 1800 block of 22nd Avenue for a hit-and-run vehicle crash. A report was filed.

12:59 a.m. A party called and reported that her cat was stolen from her residence by a neighbor.
5:36 a.m. Officer Popp stopped a vehicle in the 400 block of Fourth Street South for an obstructed window violation. The driver was arrested for driving revoked and various drug-related charges.
10:31 a.m. Officer Warkenthien was made aware of inappropriate behavior on a Brookings school bus. An investigation was made, and a report has been filed for documentation.
10:32 a.m. Officer Warkenthien was notified of an ongoing issue with the Brookings School Bus Transportation. An investigation was made, and a no trespass order has been put in place for an individual. A report has been filed.
11:10 a.m. Brookings Police responded to a report of an unattended death. A report was filed.
12:58 p.m. Officers responded to a two-vehicle, non-injury accident at the intersection of Minnesota Drive and Sunset Ridge Road. A report was filed.
