Friday, Nov. 29
2:10 a.m. Brookings Police stopped a vehicle for a lane usage violation. The driver was arrested for DUI. Drug items were located inside the vehicle.
8:08 p.m. Brookings Police responded to Walmart for a report of an individual passed out possibly inhaling intoxicating substances. One male was arrested.
8:58 p.m. Officer Engstrom responded to a non-injury, one-vehicle crash in the 900 block of 34th Avenue South. A report was filed.
Saturday, Nov. 30
2:21 a.m. Brookings Police stopped a vehicle for operating on the roadway without headlights. The driver was arrested for DUI.
12:20 p.m. Officers were dispatched to Walmart for a theft. One citation was issued. A report was filed.
7:34 p.m. Officer Britt responded to a non-injury accident in the 300 block of Front Street. A report was filed.
7:47 p.m. Brookings Police received a tip about drug-related activity.
Sunday, Dec. 1
12:38 a.m. Brookings Police stopped a vehicle for a traffic violation. The driver was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
2:30 p.m. Expired license plates; ingest, inhale substance to become intoxicated; possession of marijuana, 2 ounces or less; possession or use of drug paraphernalia; DUI-second offense
11:23 p.m. Officers were dispatched to the 400 block of Main Avenue for an ID check. Two females were arrested for possessing a fictitious ID. A report was filed.
