1:06 a.m. Two cable boxes located in the 600 block of Third Street South appeared to have been struck by a vehicle. A report has been generated.

10:37 a.m. Officers responded to a call for a hit-and-run accident. A report was filed.

3:11 p.m. Officers responded to a call about a theft. A report was filed.

4:52 p.m. Officers responded to the 1000 block of Castlewood Drive for a report of an assault. A report was filed, and charges are pending at this time.

7:21 p.m. Officer Pollman took a report of a two-vehicle, non-injury accident in the 900 block of Brooklawn Drive. A city report was filed.

Thursday, Nov. 29

4:18 a.m. Brookings Police responded to a report of an unattended death. A report was filed.

7:35 a.m. School Resource Officer Schneider received a report of a juvenile female making suicidal comments. An investigation was made, and a report was generated.

3:23 p.m. Sgt. Sonnenburg received a report of suspicious activity from the 500 block of 15th Street South. The incident was documented.

4:05 p.m. Officer DeJong took a report regarding a protection order. A report was filed.

6:18 p.m. Officers responded to a non-injury hit-and-run accident at the intersection of 10th Street and 22nd Avenue. The incident is under investigation.

7:35 p.m. Officers responded to a single-vehicle, non-injury accident in a parking lot off the 3100 block of LeFevre Drive. A report was filed.

9:41 p.m. Officer Bonnema stopped a vehicle for an equipment violation. The driver was arrested for possessing a suspended driver’s license.
