SIOUX FALLS – Lincoln raced out to a 25-10 advantage after a quarter en route to a 67-45 nonconference boys’ basketball win over the Bobcats on Tuesday night.
The Patriots were ahead 42-20 at halftime and 56-36 through three.
Diang Gatluak posted a double-double of 18 points and 11 rebounds to go with four assists and four steals.
Alex Glanzer added 15 points, while Jared Jaros and Jymell Nave both chipped in with 11.
Brookings got 14 points and five rebounds from Drew Cole. Josh Sell and Seth Swedlund both contributed seven markers, and Riley Schafer had six to go with four boards and four dimes. Trent Broksieck also scored six points.
Brookings (2-10) plays host to Harrisburg on Thursday at 7 p.m.
Sioux Falls Lincoln (9-4) takes on Moorhead, Minn., in the Sanford Pentagon Classic on Saturday.
