Brookings High School Quiz Bowl Club teams competed at Sioux Falls Christian and finished first and second place out of 28 teams.
The first-place team included Anna Rauber-Ramos, David Park, Ellie Abraham, Samyok Nepal and Tristina Ting.
Second place went to Serena An, Charlie Wang, Anna Schmit, Carl Steinlicht and Joshua Park.
The quiz bowl club expressed thanks to the Brookings Optimist Club for helping fund its competitions this year.
