BROOKINGS – At their opening assembly Friday morning, the first day of classes for Brookings students, Mickelson Middle School Assistant Principal Todd Foster, left, and Principal Tim Steffensen put together a skit for students highlighting that construction will start at MMS this fall.
Starting Sept. 4, a gravel parking lot will be established to the north side of MMS.
That parking lot is expected to be finished on Oct. 4; then that north gravel parking lot will be used as the main parking lot and the south parking lot will be closed for the remainder of the year as the construction at MMS take place on the south side of the school starting as early as Oct. 9.
