Religion and Spider-Man: Exploring a web of belief

BROOKINGS – George Tsakiridis, senior lecturer of philosophy and religion at South Dakota State University, will discuss theological and religious themes explored in his newly-edited book “Theology and Spider-Man” and found in the new film “Spider-Man: No Way Home.” 

The free program takes place from 7-8:30 p.m. Jan. 25 in SDSU Ag Engineering, Room 100.

The event will combine a short lecture; a book excerpt; an audience discussion on the themes of humanity, salvation and morality as they pertain to Spider-Man; and time for questions and answers.
