Retired faculty to hear from Dunn, Hedge, Erpenbach in virtual meeting


BROOKINGS – President Barry Dunn and Provost Dennis Hedge will keynote the first virtual meeting of SDSU retired faculty at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 16.

The Zoom meeting link and password can be accessed by emailing [email protected] or calling 691-3105. The link can also be accessed from the SDSU Association of Retired Faculty link on the university’s web page, www.sdstate.edu.  

Dunn and Hedge will update attendees on activities and academics on campus including the university’s response to the COVID-19 virus.

Steve Erpenbach, SDSU Foundation president and CEO, will discuss the capital campaign and results of the One Day for STATE fundraiser Sept. 10.

A business meeting will follow with election of officers for the 2020-2021 year. The winner of the 2021 Retired Faculty Scholarship will also be announced.

The association includes retired SDSU professionals across disciplines. Its objectives are to encourage continued participation in university activities and support of common concerns and interests.

The association has two lunch meetings a year in the fall and spring. This meeting is free and open to all retirees.
