BROOKINGS – Calling all flappers and mobsters – the Brookings Public Library is going back to the ’20s.
The Library will host a Roaring ’20s escape room from Monday, Jan. 27, to Thursday, Jan. 30.
An escape room is a popular team-building, mystery-solving, live experience where groups search for clues and solve puzzles to accomplish a mission before time runs out.
In this escape room, teams will work together to bust out of the speakeasy with their cash, but they only have 20 minutes before the coppers come and throw them in the big house. Join in to see if your team will run off with the motherlode or end up doing time.
This program is free to the public. Registration is required due to limited space. Groups of six or fewer can sign up beginning Tuesday, Jan. 21. Participants must be 14 and older.
