Roswitha “Rosi” Quétin, 72, died Saturday, Sept. 16, 2017, at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls.

She will be laid to rest in Heidelberg, Germany.

Rosi was born Feb. 28, 1945, in Eppingen, Germany, to Erwin Reinfrank and Elizabeth Hoege.

Rosi was a kind-hearted, compassionate woman who loved to laugh.

She was a successful inventor who held several patents and was well-known worldwide in the dental industry.

She owned a travel agency in Leimen, Germany, and Red Pony Tours in Sedona, Arizona.

Rosi loved Native American culture. She was always pulling pranks and sharing in the laughter. She was usually late and got lost easily. She chalked it all up to discovering a new adventure in the world.

She found beauty among people and places everywhere she went. She was generous and always giving to others. She didn’t ask, she just gave.

She is survived by two sons, Allen (Lori) Jager of Brookings and Gregory Knoof of Leimen Germany; four grandchildren; and a sister Marita Hoege of Eppingen, Germany.
