WHITE – A home in rural White was a total loss in a fire Wednesday night, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
The fire was reported at 7:10 p.m. at 48909 205th St., southeast of White, Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring said.
“The fire is believed to have stated from a wood burning stove that was located in the garage and spread to the residence. The home was a complete loss,” Sebring said.
Also responding was the White Fire Department, assisted by the Brookings Fire Department, Aurora Fire Department and White Ambulance, he said.
