BROOKINGS – The annual Studio and Graphic Design Faculty Exhibition is set from Aug. 22 to Sept. 15, hosted by South Dakota State University’s School of Design. The exhibit, which showcases faculty artwork, will be at the Ritz Gallery in Grove Hall.
There will be an opening reception from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Aug. 22. The event is open to the public with light refreshments available.
The gallery is open Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and will have paintings, drawing, sculptures and publications on display.
The annual exhibition is typically held at the start of SDSU’s fall semester. Its purpose is to increase community awareness of the work the faculty can produce when not teaching. Also, the exhibition helps to produce work for contests.
