School’s out for summer!

BROOKINGS – Cloudy skies and spotty showers couldn’t dampen the excitement of Camelot Intermediate School students as they rushed out the doors Tuesday at noon. The last day of school was brought to a close to the tune of “School’s Out,” something of a tradition at Camelot, as Principal Tim Lease (pictured) and teachers gave out high-fives and hugs to the leaving students.

Lease and others also took time to sign some inflatable beach balls, given to these students by their teacher to collect signatures of friends and staff before they left for summer vacation.

Weather permitting, the Hillcrest Aquatic Center is opening for the season at 1 p.m. Saturday.
