VOLGA – A theft of scrap metal was reported in Volga, according to the Brookings County Sheriff’s Office.
The theft was reported at 10 a.m. Tuesday and occurred in the 100 block of Ardis Avenue, said Assistant Sheriff Scott Sebring.
“A Volga resident reported the theft of scrap metal from a dumpster located near their home in Volga,” Sebring said.
The theft occurred sometime between 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Monday, he added.
