SDSU choirs to perform 2 concerts

BROOKINGS – South Dakota State University’s Concert Choir, Statesmen and Women’s Choir will perform at two shows Sunday at the Larson Concert Hall in Performing Arts Center on campus.

The choirs will perform at 2 and 5 p.m. Sunday. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students in high school or younger. SDSU students are free with ID, but seats are limited.

Selections include holiday favorites presented by each group performed from the balcony, stage and aisles in Larson Concert Hall. There will be a number from the combined groups with all 300 voices and a 20-piece instrumental ensemble.

Songs from composers Benjamin Britten, John Rutter, Eric Whitacre and others will be performed.

Tickets can be purchased online at https://www.sdstate.edu/music/annual-holiday-choral-yuletide-concert or by calling the School of Performing Arts at 688-5188. Tickets are also available the day of the performance at the Performing Arts Center box office.
