SDSU faculty members to hold art exhibit

BROOKINGS – Several South Dakota State University faculty members are holding an exhibit in Grove Hall’s Ritz Gallery Nov. 8-Dec. 3.

Ten faculty members from the SDSU School of Design and a professor emeritus are participating in the studio art and graphic design faculty exhibit. They are: Jana Anderson, Diana Behl, Shannon Frewaldt, Bev Krumm, Young Ae Kim, Peter Reichardt, Erik Ritter, Mel Spinar, Mark Stemwedel, Kristy Weaver and Molly Wicks.

They are planning to show a range of media and techniques, including ceramics, drawing, acrylic and oil painting, intaglio, graphic design and mixed media.

The Ritz Gallery, which is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday, is located south of SDSU’s University Student Union between the Mathews and Brown residence halls. Parking is available in the University Student Union lot.
